Hanmix Exchange
The Renees have come up with a great new challenge with no writing required! Anyone can sign up one of their existing stories to receive a fanmix and make one for someone else in exchange. Signups begin later this month.

Don't Judge A Book...
Once again, Jesse-may has had a great idea for a very unique type of challenge. Don't Judge A Book is sort of like a big bang in reverse. When you sign up, you have to submit a graphic which someone will write a story based on. There are still five days left to sign up, so fire up Photoshop and get creative!

A Very Hanson Christmas
Also known as Christmas Time, this was the December spotlight last year too. This year, it's a little bit different. It's entirely hosted on LiveJournal, and you can submit anything you want -- fic, graphics, art -- without an official signup. You still have until December 11 to turn something in, so get in the Hanson Christmas spirit!

The Mixtape Challenge
This a new a challenge by Jesse-may. Writers who sign up will be able to pick up to four Hanson songs to write about. Short stories and longer stories are welcome, as long as the songs influence the plot. It's a new take on the old genre of songfic and a great challenge to start 2011 with.

Trick or Treat
This is a really fun challenge just in time for Halloween. It began last year and Renee P. has brought it back for a second round. Authors can sign up to write ficlets based on a variety of horror movie themed prompts, and their stories will be posted at the end of the month.

The Hanson Fan Fiction Archives
So many hanfic sites have disappeared from the web, and it leaves a lot of us wanting to reread stories that we can no longer find. Here comes this site to the rescue! Their collection is small, but they (Who runs it? No clue.) are working dilligently to post what classic hanfic stories they can. I think it's a great effort.
